Special Functions:
 
S8 supports Hot function/Special function in dianostic category which is including:  
1. ABS Bleeding support
The auto bleed procedure is used on brake pump equipped vehicles.
This procedure uses a scan tool to cycle the system solenoid valves and run the pump in order to purge the air from the secondary circuits.
2. EPB Reset
It is important in the maintenance of electronic braking system safety and efficiency.

3.Oil Service Reset
Allows you to perform reset for a new calculation of engine oil life system once changed the oil.
4.CKP Learning
The scan tool monitors certain camshaft position sensors signals to determine if all conditions are met to continue with the procedure for Engine running.
5.Throttle Reset
Vehicle's throttle position system sensor connected to the butterfly spindle and is primarily used to monitor the throttle position within an inner combustion engine. 
Due to its location, the throttle position sensor is able to effectively observe where the throttle butterfly valve is positioned.
6.SAS Reset
Tabscan helps clear the fault steering angle sensor memories and plays an important role in the steering angle sensor calibration.
7. Immobilizer
S8 reads pin code from vehicle security immo system, mainly used to disable the lost vehicle keys and program a new replacement key fob.
8. DPF Reset
This specially works for diesel particulate filter system with DPF regeneration.
DPF component replacement teach-in and DPF teach-in after replacing the engine control unit.
9. Battery Matching
This allows the scan tool to evaluate the battery charge state, monitor the close-circuit current,register the battery replacement, and activate the rest state of the vehicle battery system.
10. TPMS
This makes TPMS sensor in displaying sensor IDs from the vehicle's ECU, inputting TPMS sensor replacement IDs and testing sensors.
11. CVT Reset
On these CVT transmissions,the timing of the release and application of elements (clutch packs and bands) is controlled by the transmission control module (a microprocessor).
12. RCMM
Matching remote control manually through the tabscan.
13. SRS Reset
Fetching SRS ECU information, reading DTCs from SRS system, clearing SRS system DTCs, turing off the SRS warning lights.
